Well let's see. I have been busy. Busy trying to remember what? Kidding. Just the usual stuff. Fighting with the computer, Facebook and all of the other electronic gadgets. I am retired and lazy as previously noted. I do some volunteer work. I am a member of the American Cancer Society team in Gillette known as Rita's rebels. It is hard work and we raise some serious money for the cause. We also have some really fun times. We host a Bachelors and Bras event, where we auction hot men off for a perfect date to an interested female. Women have a good fun bidding on these brave bachelors. It is followed by an auction of bras. People like me make and decorate the bras. Younger chicks model the bras much better than us senior woman. I love to make the bras. I made one last year that included hot pink handcuffs. Now you see how much fun we have. I joined the Kiwansis club as well. Our fun is a tad different. We participate in a lot of community events. One of which is a gun raffle. Yes even a hot pink pistol. Fun all the way around. Still making my jewelry that I sell at craft fairs and engage in artsy fartsy craft items. Give a girl a hot glue gun and who knows what is coming next.

I bought a house in Gillette last year. I said I would never move again and yet it happened. It has kept me busy unloading boxes and putting the stuff away. A great time to down size. So at times I look for something specific that I need and can not find it. So it is lost or has been taken to Value Villa or has been consumed by my computer. I am also remembering the joys of mowing a yard and all that comes with it. That part of home ownership is not impressing me but a girl has to do what a girl has to do.

My kids are adults now. Yes we raise them to be adults, but at times I wish they were little again, stealing silverware from the kitchen to use in the sand box. They are both well as you can see from my photos. Dani my oldest child has 3 girls. Bella who is 7 and a set of twins that came into this world too early in March 2016. They each weighed 2 pounds. Very scary time and a lot of prayers. The girls are fine and are growing like weeds. Our family was so blessed as Dani is an RN. What better kind of mom to have when the premies came. I am so very proud of her and her husband Shawn as they cared for their children against the odds and all the challenges premies present. Dani's father in law was some what disappointed when he learned that twins would be girls. He was hoping for boys. He already has 2 grandsons and thought 2 more grandsons and they were on the way to a softball team that he could coach. Bella my oldest granddaughter is full of spitfire and is a ball of energy, holy cow. She told her grandpa that they did not need any boys for a team. Really grandpa it is me and my two sisters. What else could you really need? That's my girl!

Kenzie still lives in Gillette and we both travel to Cheyenne to see Dani and her family as often as we can. Kenzie was blessed with a baby boy in November 2017. They named him Monte in honor of her father who passed in 2017. She is a great mom. Kenzie has been a realtor and did very well in the business. She has an opportunity to run her father's company, Specialty Concrete and so she is. Beautiful little blond 5'4" maybe 110 pounds dripping wet. However she too is a spit fire. She is lighting the construction world on fire. You may see her out and about. Look for a chick in Carhart pants and pink muck boots. That one is my child!

Looking forward to seeing all of you who planning on coming to the reunion. For those of you who aren't planning, please reconsider. It will be fun. Maybe some of us will even break our curfew regarding our time for night night.

School Story:

Really you are asking me to remember 40 plus years ago? I work hard to remember what happened earlier in the week. I will challenge my brain to rattle around looking for a memory from our years together. Will see what I come up with for the reunion.
