Comments:

The last few years have been about getting my youngest son rehabilitated. In April of 2009 Jimmy was a passenger in a vehicle that rolled off a mountain road, he suffered a broken neck. We are grateful that he can walk using a cane and a leg brace to counter the foot drop problem on his left side. His left hand doesn't work well and his left tri-cep isn't enervated either. Since he can't use the linemans education he earned, he is now ready to re-train in another field. What that will be, he just isn't sure yet. He'll make it though, he still has the same great attitude he was born with. We are so thankful that he is doing as well as he is, and look forward to more improvements, and advancements in treatments.
Ben and Melanie had a beautiful baby, Olivia, April 2012. He is a doting Daddy:) We are proud of the man he's become.
Leah is such a good girl, a hard worker that plays just as hard. She has a nice boyfriend, we are happy for her. She keeps her horse at the top of her priorities, guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
Tom and I will have been married for 30 years December,2013. Favored ways of spending our time off together are riding, hiking, and hotspringing. We live in beautiful country, havn't run out of places to explore yet.
Sooooo, middle age has brought aging parents that need me often. I burn the road up between here (north Idaho) and their place ten hours away in Southern Idaho. I know many of you have lost parents already and that my day is coming. My brother Bill passed away in November 08', big hole in our hearts--
We keep our eyes on the good in life, and try to lend a helping hand.
My best to you, Ann

School Story:

Deciding with Jamie Swenson and Cindy Conrad, that it would be a great idea to sneak up onto coach Wilson's roof and pour water down the chimney. We knew he was entertaining a date, and we thought it would be hilarious to douse the flames----Sooo, we did. While making our getaway, rounding a corner a little fast, we slid into a tree, or was it a mailbox? Anyway, we were'nt buckled up, and I ended up on the floorboards with the spilled contents of the ashtray. Despite having just wrecked her Dad's SUV, Jamie was far more concerned that he would find out that she smoked!! We did clean it up as best we could, and I can't remember how it all turned out for Jamie, but the rest of the story is burned into my memory forever.
Another prank gone wrong--Jeff Shober and I put a cigarrette load into our journalism teachers cig on the way to a convention in Rawlins. We all waited and waited for her to light that one up as we drove down the road. She smoked several, but not the "One". After getting to the school in Rawlins, she cut out for the teachers lounge, next thing we knew she was coming toward us boiling mad. Apparently when she got to the lounge, another teacher she had never met asked her for a cigarette!!! You guessed it, he got "the one" Sill makes me laugh thinking about it!
