Pine Haven, Wyoming
Tammie Fay Jones, age 66, of Pine Haven WY died February 9, 2026 of natural causes. She was born September 29, 1959 in Beaver, OK to Johnie & Phillis Filbeck. As a young girl, she grew up traveling with her family from Alaska to Newcastle but eventually back to Gillette. She was a Camel alum through-n-through, went to Sheridan College and later went back to continue her education at Billings State University where she graduated with a Masters in Education. Tammie got married to Jimmy Jones in October, 1998. They spent many years hunting and fishing together. They later divorced in February, 2012. Tammie was a member of the Local Elks Lodge #2825 for 12 years. Tammie had also recently become a member of the Local Fraternal Order of Eagles in Gillette in the last 3 years. Tammie was an educator in Campbell County School District for 32 years. She held many titles over the years – custodian, cook, aide and most cherished – Teacher! She taught at many of the schools around the District – Meadowlark, Stocktrail, Rozet, Lakeview and others. So many students were touched by her grace. She is survived by her daughter Ronda Ingram, grandchildren Caleb and Carter Ingram. Her sisters, Sandy “Sissie” Wofford and later in life, Michelle Filbeck. Nieces Emily Stageberg (Mitch) and Anna Lange (Shane). Nephews TJ Wofford (Jessie), Loyd Wofford (Laura), Kris Wofford (Heather) and Josh Wofford (Steph). Tammie’s friends list is out of this world – she was beyond loved and will be forever missed! She was preceded in death by both her mother, father, and brother-in-law, JR Wofford. There will be a Celebration of Life in May 2026. Time and place to be announced. Thank you to everyone at the Res and R Place during this difficult time. You have made this easier for me to realize she is now in Heaven cruizin’ in her Moonshine mobile. Tammie grew up hunting and fishing, but her latest passion in life was golf. And if you knew her, you would always here her say – “In My World”. So, as her daughter, I know that after retirement for my mom, the Town of Pine Haven gave that to her….. The peace, the comfort and the relaxation to close her eyes one last time… To be In Her World…. Until we meet again Momma, I Love you!
