Graveside services for Clay Alexander will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Clay Alexander age 57 of Gillette, WY passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 10, 2017 at his home. Clay was born on October 15, 1959 to Ron and Shirley Alexander in Casa Grande, AZ. He lived with his parents in Arizona, Texas and at a young age the family moved to Gillette, WY and he lived in Gillette the remainder of his life. He completed grade school, junior high and graduated from Campbell County High School in 1978. He worked for Chinook, Freund Construction, Amax, Kar Products and then with his dad Ron they purchased the Honda shop which grew into Lakeway Power Sports, which Clay owned and operated at the time of his death. He always enjoyed anything that had a motor that you could ride, at a very young age he started racing dirt bikes, which he competed in for several years and has a room full of trophies to show his accomplishments in racing. His second love was snowmobiling in the Big Horn Mountains and then also included water skiing, boating, jet skiing, 4-wheeling and camping. He is survived by his fiance Renae Coleman and her children Heather Whitt and Matt Coleman along with dear and close friend Joe Thompson, brother, Lee Alexander, nephew, Aaron Alexander, nieces, Misty and Kendra Alexander along with 11 great-nieces and nephews all of Gillette, WY.
