On January 31, 2013, John Edward Bing, 52, passed from this world to the highways of Heaven due to advanced metastatic prostate cancer. John died in his Spearfish home with his loving family and friends by his side. John was born April 18, 1960 in Casper, WY. to Charles and Ovella Bing and graduated from Campbell County High School in 1978. He resided in Wyoming, Colorado and South Dakota; however, traveled world-wide, documenting life through photography. On August 3, 2002, John married Charlotte (Charm) Miller, and to this loving union was born two children, Lauren Nicole and Dawson Charles. John loved skiing, playing basketball, football and most of all, riding his Harley. John is survived by his mother and his brother, Tommy, of Gillette, also wife and children of Spearfish, and many, many friends. A memorial and celebration of John's life will be Friday, February 8, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Fidler-Isburg Funeral Home in Spearfish. At John's request, cremation has taken place and his ashes will be spread in the places he loved to go on his Harley. A memorial has been established. John has been adamant about raising awareness of prostate cancer, so if you would like to do something in John's memory, get screened for cancer.
